Try Paul Murray Kendall, Richard III, quite an old book, very pro
Richard and an easy read as well.
If you really want a novel, try Sharon Penman, Sunne in Splendour.

If you mean a history that reads like a novel at times, while factually
accurate, I'd suggest Paul Murray Kendall's biography. It really is superb.
