Television as we all know, is a great place to teach history, or at least get people interested in history. And British and European history is so full of great personalities and stories to tell.
So what are we getting this week? A dramatised documentary about Elizabeth 1 , followed by that much neglected subject of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. Yes again! Just what we need. Henry VIII again!

Oh Pamela! I've been to see movies that have had terrible notices and I've loved them! I think one should always give things a try, and Charles III is not the same as dredging up Henry VIII again, but an imaginative what might happen, written in a sophisticated verse form. I've not Sen it all yet but found what I saw I teresting to say the least.Paul

Tim Pigott Smith, who I did not know is dead, is the lead. I like him, so so many fine British actors, can do mean to emotional!

It's not the actors....it's some of the story line, Harry's particularly seemed stupid.
