I didn't intend to post this here - it's not meant to be self-aggrandizing advertisment but seems to be the quickest way to respond to all of the entertaining speculations regarding Eleanor, George, and Stillington because I haven't had time to check in with you daily and the list of informative and entertaining back and forth would seem, in length, to be able to match the length of an original manuscript by Suetonius. Since I'm ready to fold after feed the cats, having pulled an all-nighter trying to get the word out, I haven't had time to read comprehensively since the first of the month. If you are interested in taking a look at my opinions, the next seven days are the time to do it. I'm sharing the U.S. link because the U.K. link doesn't present the two books on the same page, and the U.S. also has a "Look Inside" feature:

A SALE FOR ONE WEEK ONLY - I’m going to be there! In anticipation of the General Membership Meeting of the Richard III Society in Denver the weekend of September 24-25, for one week (September 14-21), both versions of KING'S GAMES are on sale at the lowest price Amazon and Kindle will allow. (Audible controls its own pricing)

I’m particularly recommending “King’s Games, The Commentaries,” which would make a perfect gift for anyone who doesn’t understand what all the fuss regarding the King in the Car Park was about. If someone you know is an audio book fan (check out the audio sample), you can give the gift of my voice in his/her ear. Adventure, Romance, a nit of Wit, and a pinch of Down Home Wisdom . . .

Hopefully, both books (especially Commentaries) will get some reviews from English-speaking readers all over the world. The crazy thing is, Amazon doesn’t attach existing reviews to the Amazon U.K. page until after a review appears on that local page. However, although the tally shows only that one U.K. review, scrolling down after it is read will reveal the U.S. reviews. I just looked up New Zealand, and they do list the four existing 5-Star U.S. reviews, but no local review. Even though it’s owned by Amazon, Audible is a separate entity and book reviews don’t attach until after the first, separate, Audible review (it’s primarily a questionnaire) is published. Not difficult to understand why independent and self-published authors historically sell less than 100 books. https://www.amazon.com/Kings-Games-Commentaries-Nance-Crawford/dp/151187581X/ref=sr_1_1_twi_pap_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1473767265&sr=8-1&keywords=King%27s+Games+by+Nance+Crawford www.NanceCrawford.com
